Over to Regina…
I believe every child deserves a safe and supportive space where they can grow, explore, and express themselves freely. My teaching approach is centred on patience, encouragement, and creating meaningful learning experiences that foster confidence and independence. Seeing children discover their strengths and curiosity is what makes this work so rewarding for me.
Throughout my career, I’ve been most proud of building strong connections with children and seeing them grow in confidence. One of my proudest moments was helping a shy child express themselves through storytelling, watching them gain the confidence to lead their own activity.
When I’m not at Choklits, I love spending time with my dog, named Coffee, taking long walks together. Staying active is important to me, so I make time for exercise, whether it’s a gym session or an outdoor adventure. I’m also a food lover, and I enjoy exploring new places with delicious food and trying different flavours along the way.
The cutest and most beautiful thing a child has ever done for me was drawing a picture of me and my dog, Coffee, enjoying a cake together after I told them about it. They excitedly handed me the drawing and said, “This is you and Coffee having a yummy treat!” It was such a sweet and thoughtful moment that showed how much they listen and care—it truly made my day!
