Choklits Surrey Hills, Melbourne Kindergarten and Child Care Centre is a family owned and operated business and has been so for over 26 years. We believe learning is everywhere and we put children at the forefront of everything we do ensuring our curriculum, ideas and extra activities are all designed to help children learn and develop in the way that’s right for them.

We provide early education and care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years, and implement a dynamic play-based learning approach to foster curiosity. We pride ourselves on partnering with parents and carers to help prepare your child for their future by enhancing their learning and development through developing meaningful relationships and a strong sense of community and belonging.
The purpose-built rooms, natural light and open plan layout give our Surrey Hills Kindergarten a welcoming and connected feel. Outside, the children enjoy the sandpit, water play areas, climbing equipment, vegetable garden, slides and ball games.
Our qualified and caring educators, backed by the Choklits‘ community knowledge and expertise, provide tailored learning environments to suit each age group from 0-6 years. Choklits Surrey Hills, Melbourne has varied, immersive learning spaces and a fun-filled Kindergarten Program, complete with music, language and movement classes, yoga tuition and our sports program specifically developed to encourage holistic growth and development in young children. On-site, chef prepared nutritious meals are made daily, often with the help of the children themselves, and are included within the fee.

Choklits Surrey Hills caters for 92 children under the age of 6 years, they are divided into 6 groups:

Each group of children is cared for and educated by qualified early childhood professionals. The minimum staff/child ratio for children under 3 years is 1:4 (educator:children) and over 3 years is 1:11. Choklits exceeds the minimum requirements.
