A short but joy-filled week at Choklits Ringwood!
We were fortunate to enjoy some glorious weather, allowing our young learners to spend plenty of time outdoors, feeding our chickens and deepening their understanding of how to care for animals and the environment.
Our Plant to Plate program was in full swing as well, with the children eagerly collecting eggs to use during their Cooking with Jordan experience. It was a wonderful way to connect learning with hands-on fun.

Highlights from the week…
Easter celebrations: Easter at Choklits Ringwood was nothing short of magical! Our celebrations sparked a burst of creativity as the children eagerly dove into a week of Easter-themed arts and crafts. From colourful baskets to truly magnificent Easter hats, their creations lit up the room in preparation for one of the most beloved events on our calendar, the Easter Bonnet Parade! Thursday was a day to remember, as the children proudly showcased their handmade masterpieces with big smiles and even bigger excitement. Just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny brought pure joy and wonder to everyone, it was the highlight of the week!
Adding to the festive fun, our Easter Egg Hunt had the children exploring every corner of the service. In the spirit of sustainability and our sugar-free approach, we crafted eggs from recyclable materials. The children enthusiastically painted them and decorated each one with our signature Chokliteers stickers before setting off to find them in a cheerful, eco-friendly hunt. It was a week filled with laughter, learning, creativity, and celebration, Easter magic was truly in the air!
Educator spotlight…
We’d like to give a huge shout-out to Twigs from the Pre-Toddler Room for her incredible dedication and leadership. Each day, Twigs continues to impress us with her commitment to her role, especially during the absence of the room leader. With confidence and care, Twigs has stepped up to lead the Pre-Toddler Room, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that each child continues to feel safe, supported, and nurtured. Her attention to detail and unwavering dedication to following our practices and procedures shows just how deeply she understands the importance of consistency in early childhood care.
Twigs is a shining example of our core pillars, collaboration, communication, and consistency. Her proactive approach and calm leadership truly make a difference, and we’re so grateful to have her as part of the Choklits family. Thank you, Twigs, for everything you do!

At Choklits, we are proud to be a sugar-free service, placing the health and well-being of our early learners at the heart of everything we do.
Our talented cook prepares delicious, nutritious meals without added sugar, ensuring children develop healthy eating habits from the very beginning. Even our birthday celebrations are thoughtfully planned, with sugar-free cakes that still bring smiles all around!
This Easter, in line with our sugar-free approach, we added a creative twist to our Easter Egg Hunt. Instead of chocolate eggs, we introduced beautifully crafted egg-stickers, a fun, engaging, and health-conscious alternative that the children absolutely loved.
Our commitment to a sugar-free environment is just one of the many ways we support the growth, health, and happiness of every child in our care.
